Here’s a fun expression of Teroldego in a 10,000-bottle release. Teroldego is a hearty red grape found primarily north of Verona in the region of Trentino. The Marion 2016 Teroldego is inky black and impenetrable in appearance with dark plum and Morello cherry. The wine is beautifully rich and soft with the kind of textural richness that would stand up to your favorite meat dishes or even a classic meat loaf smothered in gravy. One-third of the grapes are air-dried before pressing. This is the ultimate comfort wine for comfort foods. It’s such a deeply satisfying red.
